Journeys contains a photo gallery for a coast to coast road trip. In the future, it will contain pictures and commentary on more of the various trips I've taken, places I've visited, and special events in my life. It also connects to my links page which will soon take you on various journeys around the internet.

Writings showcases some of my favorite poems, and will eventually contain my various travelogues and newsletters, a list of favorite books I reccommend, and perhaps a few essays and journal anecdotes. Keep watching.

Visuals is a gallery of some of my artwork, and will also contain my graphic design portfolio.

Statistics is my FYI page. It has alot of info about me and related stuff. It has a link to my school's page, and my boyfriend's page, and very soon it will link to my resume.

(Emily Dalton is my real name; please do not confuse me with the harlequin romance writer pen-named Emily Dalton).

November 14, 2002: So now I'm Emily Bryner, but I will still write under my maiden name, since too many people seem to have difficulties pronouncing my new last name. (It rhymes with "winner.") I am now taking commissions for freelance work of all sorts at very reasonable rates. I will have a portfolio of my Graphic Design work posted before Christmas.

August 17, 2002: It should now be evident why I've done nothing to my page in months. Check out my special new subpage to find out more about the big news and the upcoming big event.

May 12, 2002: Happy Mother's Day Mommy, Grammy, Grandma, Aunties, and moms everywhere! I put up my resume in statistics and ten new poems on the writings page today; more will follow.

May 9, 2002: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to www.emeraldtwilight.com! My very own domain name! It was a birthday (May 4th) present from Marcus, whom you can find out more about on the statistics page.

I've been sporadically making jpegs for a graphic design portfolio which will probably emerge in late June or early July, at which time this page's formal purpose will be furthering the business of my embryonic company, Emerald Twilight Design. It isn't born just yet, but it will be as soon as I get a new computer and a business license. I'm very excited about this, can you tell?

If you need something designed or illustrated, I will be taking commissions, starting in July, and I promise my rates will be VERY reasonable and negotiable. Happy Spring!

January 31, 2002: Added a few new pix on the visuals page. Still need to work up a Graphic Design Portfolio. Finally did some work on the writings page. Now I gotta put some more writings in it! I guess I never mentioned that the journeys page now has one journey in it. Still evolving...

December 9, 2001: I have mastered cascading style sheets...I think. Hopefully all type should now be visible and at least somewhat pretty. I also finally put up a decent bio. The evolution continues. This page is still a long way from where I want it. Metaphorically speaking, it's no longer an amoeba, but it's still just about like a tadpole as compared with a human being. Lucky for me, I'm a creationist, and when it comes to this page, I'm god. But, since I'm not God (and therefore not omnicient), I had better quit messing with this thing and go study for my finals!

December 7, 2001: Okay, ladies and gents, I have at last fixed the gallery. It's not perfect or finished (what, or who, ever is?), but it looks decent (if somewhat out of sync with the formatting of the rest of the site), and most of all, IT WORKS!!! Merry Christmas to me! Yay. Oh yeah, and I added some minor stuff throughout the site, except the "Writings" page is unchanged. All in time. As it is I've been procrastinating about writing reports. Season's Salutations and So Forth to anyone attentive and gracious enough to visit my website. God bless us, everyone.

November, 2001: Yikes, I still haven't done anything. Well, I did put something on the stats page. Caesar said I had to. An entire overhaul is still pending and will be gradual. My webpage is currently a disturbingly poor reflection on my skills as a designer. I promise massive improvements by next February. Come back then, okay?

December, 2000: This page is a newborn. It will cry and be messy for a while. It is a seedling that will soon grow strong. It, like each of us, is a work in progress. Come back. It will be better.
